a lot of these websites come really close to home for some reason, the general cryptic internet aesthetic is cool. i guess i'm just drawn to fear of the unknown on a place like the internet. normally, i am scared of the unknown but on the internet i'm drawn to it for some reason. maybe i just see the beauty and the wonder in the disorder? i don't know. anyway, here are the sites.
this is just an archive of every iteration of a website known as south32.com. the best range is 2015-2018. the website is nothing more than an iranian dude's attempt at cybersquatting and covering it up by making a bad movie, but it's still eerie nonetheless due to how cryptic it is.
this website is lhohq.info. it's a situationist(?) net art project still being added on to today. be careful browsing it as it does have information on the lives of many US government affiliated individuals (public info, but still). the creator of the website is unknown.
this website is notorious for its vaguely anti-government message (this website was created in the early 2000s around the time of the iraq war) and its massive amount of popups. the creator of the website made it as part of the net art movement. he said he made it to be a destabilizing experience.
this is a good video on subculture.com
just a cool website that has archives of a lot of things
